Vomitverse is a performance and video game evening curated by Fantasia Malware and featuring guest artists alpha_rats, wherethehasbeen and yeongrak.

The Vomitverse is corporate tech's nauseous twin - a ghost world rendered in hyper-saturated strokes of bile. An aesthetic of hyper-saturated, maximalist worlds, the abandoned plastic and cgi of the internet’s history has become sentient. Birthed from nausea, these shrines formed from pieces of themselves, like a statue of David carved from döner kebab.

Vomitverse is part of Fever Loop Fountain - a four part event series exploring video games and performance.

alpha_rats is a digital transgoblin creating video games and visual art from the vomit world dimension. alpha_rats will perform Quantcept - a video game performance about a call-center operator acting as a bridge between the audience and entities such as corporations & ghosts through the esoteric art of market research.

wherethehasbeen (b. Nicosia 1987) is a digital artist (@wherethehasbeen) and musician (@isitcoldinchurch_lxiv) living in Amsterdam who makes videos, games, installations and performances using game engines. wherethehasbeen will perform Hole in the Vault, a video game about souls that drift in loops and black holes and those that seek to capture them.

yeongrak is a soup music artist from linclon, nz. yeongrak will show a series of videos featuring playthroughs of mods and texture overhauls the artists has made of pre-existing games such as Stalker, Mount & Blade and Eye Divine Cybermancy. The playthroughs are soundtracked by yeongrak's own music - muddy, slippery and slurry.

Fantasia Malware is an experimental video game label & collective based in Berlin. Together they develop and publish video games, performances and chaotic, corrupt software. Fantasia Malware is Jira Duguid, Chloê Langford and Gabriel Helfenstein. Their collaboration has grown out of the fizzing underbelly of video games - a late capitalist medium wrenched free from the grasp of the marketing team to make boundless alien dream worlds.
